Workshop settings
Configure shared Workshop details, people, scheduling, pricing, workflows and data.
Open Settings from a Workshop host to manage personal account settings and shared Workshop configuration. Personal settings follow your account; Workshop settings affect every member of the current Workshop.
General Workshop details
Use General to maintain the Workshop name, logo, description, website, review link, timezone and invoice contact details. The Workshop slug forms its host address and cannot be changed after creation.
Changing the timezone affects local business dates and scheduled invoice checks, so confirm it before relying on due dates and reminders.
Members and roles
Open Members to review members and pending invitations. Owners can:
- invite a person by email as an admin or mechanic;
- switch a non-owner member between admin and mechanic;
- remove a member;
- cancel a pending invitation.
A Workshop must always keep at least one owner. Past work remains attributed to a removed member.
Scheduling and workflow
- Calendar controls working hours and the default Booking calendar view.
- Bays defines the bays available for scheduled work.
- Workflow manages the named Booking statuses inside each lifecycle category.
- Booking Templates prepares repeatable Booking and Work Order content.
- Work Order Templates prepares repeatable workshop work and line items.
- Inspection Forms manages reusable inspection forms.
- Customer Reminders configures service and registration reminders.
Pricing and labels
Use Pricing to manage price books. A price book applies a margin or markup to product cost; one book remains the Workshop default.
Use Labels to manage the shared coloured tags that organise Customers and Bookings.
Notifications
Workshop → Notifications lets the Workshop switch supported in-app notification types off for everyone. Each member can make a narrower personal choice under Account → Notifications. A personal preference cannot turn on a notification disabled for the whole Workshop.
Data import and export
Open Data to import Customers and vehicles from CSV, run a guided Workshop Software migration, and export Workshop datasets as CSV or JSON. Review every mapped row and import plan before starting the write.
Exports can include archived records and a date range where supported. The export history records the dataset, member, time and result.
Some pages are owner-only, including Billing, API keys, Labels and Workflow. Other roles may see shared configuration as read-only when they lack permission to change it.
