Work orders

Each vehicle's job gets one work order: the parts and labour on it, the mechanic doing it and every minute on the clock, from start to invoice.

TemplatesTime trackingPriorities

In Studio

A work order in Studio: items, a running time log, and actual time against the quote.

What it does

One page per job

Items, time log, vehicle inspections and notes sit together on the work order.

Clock in and out

Mechanics clock on with a live timer, or add manual time with a note after the fact.

Actual against quoted

Actual, billable, quoted and remaining time for every job, straight from the time log.

Status that follows the work

Created, in progress, paused, blocked for parts, completed and invoiced.

Parts on request

Mark a line as parts requested, then fulfilled when the part is on the bench.

Templates

Keep repeatable jobs as work order templates with their billing and products.

How it works

01

Open the job

Create the work order from the booking and set its priority and billing.

02

Add the work

Add products and custom lines while the job is still unstarted.

03

Clock on

Assign a mechanic and clock in. Pause, or block for parts, if it stalls.

04

Complete and invoice

Mark it complete and create the invoice from the work order.
